Salem-based Charitable Organization Builds Career Step Medical Clinic in Ghana
Medical Care Funds Raised by Loflin-Anaya Foundation
Andrea Anaya, Founder and CEO of Career Step, started this foundation and Career Step is proud to support the continuing efforts of the Loflin-Anaya Foundation in improving living conditions for those in Ghana. Money raised from this event will be delivered to the village of Asikuma and the Kumasi orphanage in Ghana Africa by a group from Career Step. These funds will help the country with education, medical care needs, and in improving their basic living conditions.
The public attended the Salem Annual Fish Fry where they experienced live music from Ghana while eating fresh halibut imported from Alaska. Booths were also available where participants purchased clothing, jewelry, and masks that were imported straight from Ghana for this occasion. There were activities provided for the kids as well. Career Step and the Loflin-Anaya Foundation hope to make this an annual event where all involved can have a fun time and raise money for a great cause.
About the Loflin-Anaya Foundation The overriding mission of the Loflin-Anaya Foundation is to bring souls to Christ. We accomplish this through meeting the physical and emotional needs of impoverished people and providing educational and service opportunities.
