Career Step Updates Microsoft Office 2016 Training
Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and professional training, has updated its Microsoft Office curriculum, available in stand-alone Microsoft Office courses and in a variety of other Career Step programs, to reflect changes in the 2016 software released by Microsoft earlier this year. The updates cover the new Microsoft Office 2016 features designed to maximize productivity and collaboration.
“We put our students first, and that means offering up-to-date training to keep them relevant in today’s high-tech job market,” said Ben Hartman, Vice President of Enrollments. “We work to respond to an ever-evolving business world so that our students have the tools they need to improve their lives and find the career that that works best for them.”
The updated Microsoft Office course includes 24/7 online access to in-depth training in the five core applications: Microsoft Access 2016, Microsoft Excel 2016, Microsoft Outlook 2016, Microsoft PowerPoint 2016, and Microsoft Word 2016. Taken as a bundle, these courses will prepare students to earn the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Master credential. The courses can also be taken individually.
In addition, Microsoft Office training in all Career Step programs now reflects the new 2016 curriculum, keeping Career Step graduates ahead of the curve regarding vital expertise needed to be competitive in administrative and tech fields.
“High-quality education is essential for students to have a competitive edge in their careers,” said Jerolyn Robertson, Career Step Vice President of Academics. “We make sure the courses we offer keep pace with industry advances so our graduates are ready to contribute to their organizations from day one. Improved skills result in improved job performance.”
