resource roundup

With the return of the $500 bonus, you may be looking for ways to increase your referrals in 2015. (We hope so anyway!) Here’s a recap of some of the resources we’ve added lately to help you with your referral efforts.

1. Program Spotlights
This series is designed to help you become familiar with all of Career Step’s programs so you can share information about programs other than the one you may have taken. Since our last resource roundup, we’ve spotlighted Medical Office Manager, Health Information Technology, and Medical Billing.

2. Who’s Who of Career Step Students
We just started this new series that will highlight the different types of Career Step students. Our first post was about graduating high school students, and it even includes a brochure and flier you can customize with your referrer ID.

3. Using Social Media to get Referrals
We also have another new blog series designed to help you increase your referrals through social media. We’ll talk about a variety of different social media platforms and how you can use them in your referral efforts. We just launched the series in the last few weeks with a post on Facebook—since it is the most widely used social media platform.  Look for posts about Pinterest, Twitter, and more in the near future!

4. Facebook Ideas
And speaking of Facebook, we continue to add additional ideas and suggestions on ways to increase your referrals with Facebook. The latest include:

Like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CSReferralProgram to make sure you have the most up-to-date information on all of our promotions as well as to get ideas on how to increase your referrals!

5. Info Session Videos
We’re really excited about these new videos. They’re designed to give an overview of the industry, the job functions, and why your friends and family might want to consider Career Step when they’re training for a specific career. There is a new info session video for each of the Career Step programs, and to view all of them just check out the “Tours” section of the Media Library. We’re highlighting a different tour video in a variety of posts, and we’ve recently added:

6. New Medical Coding Career Paths infographic
The last few months also saw the development of a new infographic you can use in your referral efforts. Our new Medical Coding Career Paths Infographic shows the many different career paths available through medical coding. The infographic is perfect to share with your friends or family members who might be interested in a medical coding career but aren’t sure which path to take.
