Medical Administrative AssistantCareer Step has just launched its newest training program: Medical Administrative Assistant! This is our quickest (students can complete their training in less than 3 months!) and most affordable program yet. The course is priced at $1,195, and, like all Career Step programs, it’s designed to help students gain the skills they need to excel in the workplace.

Medical administrative assistants work in physicians’ offices, insurance companies, hospitals, and many other healthcare facilities managing the day-to-day operations, medical records, insurance paperwork, appointments, and more. This is a great career field, especially for those looking for a way to get a foot in the door of the healthcare industry.

When you tell others about the new program, be sure to include these important points:

  • Opportunities in almost every community – The U.S. Department of Labor expects 27% growth in the demand for medical administrative assistants by 2018, which equates to 125,000 new jobs in a wide variety of healthcare facilities.
  • Industry approved curriculum – The comprehensive Career Step program is approved and certified by the National Healthcareer Association, a leading industry organization.
  • Preparation for certification – Graduates have the knowledge and skills to pass the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam and move into the workforce right away. This certification isn’t usually required for employment, but holding the credential can increase job opportunities and earning potential.

We’ve added the Medical Administrative Assistant brochure to the Referral Resource Center and changed your webpage to include information on the new program.
