Referrer Spotlight: Katharina Jones
When I moved from Germany to the United States in December 2011, I was just a military spouse and stay at home mom for 6 months. Then I was told about Career Step and how easy you can get an education under your belt even if you are not a citizen of the United States. It was exactly what I needed to start my life and get settled here in America. I decided to go for Medical Billing. Signing up for the program was very easy and I was enrolled within 3 days, the program and my books were completely covered by MYCAA. If I have questions about my course, I can always talk to an advisor or post questions in student forums. Everyone can do it, since it’s on your own time and from home. Shortly after I started doing Medical Billing, I found a job that looks good on my resume.
I told friends and other army spouses on Facebook about Career Step and what a great opportunity it is for them to educate themselves and also make some extra money with the Referral Program. Shortly after, my friends were signing up with Career Step. I think everybody can do great things with Career Step.
I’m back on track – and you can do the same!
