I would like to see some more web ads that I can use on my website. Most specifically ones that talk about AHIMA and AHDI approved courses. Also, I love that CS is expanding by adding more courses however I am at a loss as to how to market the newest computer course. What can I tell people to help them make the decision to take the CS course other than other computer courses out there? CS has made the medical field their niche market so it is hard for me to reach out to people in the computer industry and recommend a school that is mostly known for medical programs.

    Thanks Brad!

Amanda - Thanks for your comments. As for more ads, we do have some AHIMA banners available in the Resource Center. We also have a few others that I can email to you.

Here are some thoughts on your questions around Computer Tech.
I would recommend focusing on CS as a specialist in the career education space rather than the medical space. We have over 20 years of experience successfully helping students gain exactly the skills they need to excel in the workforce, and we’re bringing that experience to the Computer Technician field. Sticking to our proven model, we’ve designed the Computer Technician program to prepare students to get a job—they don’t have to spend time on General Ed credits, and they’ll be gaining the skills they need to earn industry certification. Those industry certifications are huge in the technology/computer industry, and the fact that students will be prepared to earn CompTIA A+ certification gives them an excellent way to set themselves apart from others when they start looking for jobs. Hiring managers absolutely look for certifications in this field (even if they’re not a requirement of the position), and the CompTIA A+ gives them an accurate idea of the graduate’s skill level, increasing the grad’s likelihood of getting hired.
