1. Personal Information Page - We will pattern your personal information page after your employment application. The purpose of the personal information page is to extract detailed information from your applicants to determine if they will meet your skill level, Internet requirements and geographic boundaries. Applicants who do not meet your minimum requirements are not allowed to move forward with the testing process.
2. Screening Exam - The screening exam is designed to quickly assess an applicant's rudimentary English and medical language skill set. This concise exam effectively purges out untrained and unqualified applicants.
3. Objective Exam - The objective exam is a rigorous and comprehensive assessment. This exam was designed to measure the applicant's mastery of medical transcription fundamentals. The test questions consist of grammar, general language skills, medical language and transcription aptitude.
4. Transcription Exam - The transcription portion of the exam includes a series of digital audio files downloaded from the MTTest.com website to the applicant's computer. Using their own foot pedal or the software available on the testing site, the applicant transcribes and submits their reports. Their transcribed reports are then compared with the sound file key using our text-comparison program.
