During the presentation, Mr. Hodgson and Ms. Carr will discuss how organizations can develop an audit work plan and physician documentation education plans as a part of their ICD-10 planning and preparations. Specifically they will review how adjusting auditing frequency and practices in addition to training healthcare providers on correct documentation now will prevent issues later on and quickly provide the insight needed to identify problems and implement solutions.
