Career Step’s Graduate Support Services are an important part of your job search as a medical transcriptionist/editor. Although they are an important part of your search, many students and graduates aren’t quite aware of what is available. We wanted to give you a little insight into one of our Graduate Support Advisors and what types of resources are available through that department.
Micah has been with Career Step for a little over 5 years. Here’s a bit about him in his very own words:
“Growing up, I spent time camping and swimming in Northern California and exploring the Giant Redwoods. Now I spend time with my kids, throughout the mountain ranges of Utah. The outdoors has been a large part of my life since I can remember. Sports have also been a big part of my life, and I still try to put in time playing basketball or baseball.
With Career Step, I get the great opportunity to help our wonderful graduates find employment and seek a better opportunity for their families.
With over five years of experience at Career Step, I am very familiar with the course material and also what companies are looking for from our graduates.
My goal is to help each of our graduates find employment. More importantly, my goal is to make sure our graduates know what they need to do to seek employment. The successful graduates who find employment are those who proactively seek employment and take the advice we share with them.”
