The American Medical Billing Association offers networking opportunities for medical billing professionals. Career Step Medical Billing graduates recieve a 1-year membership to AMBA upon completion of the training program.
The American Academy of Professional Coders primarily represents the outpatient side of the medical coding industry. Career Step Medical Coding and Billing graduates are prepared for the organization's Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification exam upon graduation.
The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity is the leading association for medical transcriptionists. This association has approved Career Step Medical Transcription training program.
The American Health Information Management Association oversees all health information management industries. The Career Step Professional Medical Coding and Billing program is an AHIMA-Approved Coding Program, and graduates are prepared for the organization's Certified Coding Associate (CCA) certification exam upon graduation.
