Email Whitelist Instructions

Nobody likes spam, and your email providers are doing their best to keep it from your inboxes. Unfortunately, sometimes emails you want to receive are mistakenly caught up in spam folders due to your email provider’s good intentions. To make sure you continue seeing our emails, please “whitelist” us by adding us to your trusted list of senders, your contacts, or your email address book.

1. Open your spam folder and open an email from us.
2. Mark the email as not spam.
3. Scroll down to find the provider or software you use to see specific instructions to each provider.

If our email messages continue to be sent to your junk folder, and you have already added us to your contacts or address list, please contact your ISP or spam filter application support and ask them how to whitelist our emails.

 

Gmail

 

To make sure our email gets delivered to your inbox, you must add us to your contacts list.

If you do not find an email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com in your inbox, check your Gmail spam folder.

1. If you find out email, please open it.
2. Click the toolbar button labeled Not spam.

Next, add us to your contacts list.

1. Open the email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com.
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to Reply in the upper right side across from the header.
3. Click Add to Contacts List from the list that appears.
4. If it does not appear in the dropdown list, you have probably already added us to your contacts.

 

Gmail Mobile App

 

If you are using the Gmail Mobile App on your mobile device, please open the app now.

If you are using Gmail tabs such as Promotions, open the tab in Gmail. If you do not find an email from us, please check the spam folder.
1. Open the email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com.
2. Tap the menu icon on the top right.
3. Select Move to.
4. Select Primary from the list so you will always see us in your primary inbox tab.

 

Gmail Tabs

 

If you are using Gmail Tabs such as ‘Promotions,’ please open the tab in your Gmail.

1. Find the email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com.
2. Grab and drag the email to the Primary Inbox tab.
3. When the alert similar to the one you see below pops up at the top of your gmail tooblar, click Yes, so you will always see our emails in your primary inbox tab.

 

Yahoo Mail

 

If you have not received an email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com, check your spam folder.

1. Find an email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com and open it.
2. Click the Not spam button on the top toolbar.

To ensure delivery, create a filter to automatically send CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com email to your inbox.

1. Mouse over or tap the Gear icon in the top right navigation bar.
2. Select Settings from the dropdown list.
3. Choose Filters on the left side of the page.
4. Click the Add button on the filters page.
5. Create a name, such as Whitelist, in the filter name field.
6. In the From field leave the default selection as contains.
7. Enter CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com in the text box next to contains.
8. Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered, such as Inbox.
9. Click Save.
10. The next screen will verify your choices. Click Save on this screen.

 

iPhone Mail App

 

iPhone Mail identifies most junk mail (spam) sent to your @icloud.com address or aliases, but it can mistakenly move email to your junk mail folder. mail folder.

Periodically check the junk folder for email messages that were marked as junk mistakenly. To indicate that an email message from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com isn’t junk:

1. Open your mail app and go to the Mailboxes screen
2. Scroll down to the folders area.
3. Select the Junk folder.
4. Find the email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com and slide it left to see options.
5. Tap the More button.
6. Tap the Mark button.
7. Tap Mark as Not Junk.

The email will be moved to your inbox. Subsequent email messages from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com will no longer be marked as junk. By default, messages in the Junk folder are deleted after 30 days, so be sure to check it often to whitelist relevant email.

 

Outlook Mobile App

 

To add CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com to your focused inbox on the Outlook App:

1. Open the mobile Outlook app on your mobile device.
2. Open the email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com.
3. Click the dropdown menu on the top right of your inbox.
4. On the menu displayed, tap Move to Focused Inbox.
5. Select the Move this and all future messages button.
6. Tap Move.

All future messages from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com will appear in your focused inbox.

 

Outlook 2003 etc.

 

To add CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com to your list of safe senders on Outlook, follow these steps.

1. Right click our email in your inbox email list pane.
2. On the menu displayed, move your mouse over or tap Junk.
3. Click or tap Never block sender in the menu that rolls out.
4. When the message displayed below pops up, click OK.
“The sender of the selected message has been added to your Safe Senders List.”
5. Next, add the sender to your address book by opening the email and clicking on the address in the From box.
6. Choose the Add to contacts option.

 

Inbox by Gmail

 

To make sure our email gets delivered to a preferred folder of your choice in your inbox, you must add us to the folder.

NOTE: “My Preferred Folder” is a demonstration. You will need to create your own folder by clicking + Create new.

1. Open the email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com.
2. Click the menu icon.
3. Select My Preferred Folder or other folder of your choice from the dropdown menu.
4. If you have not already created a folder, you may do so now by clicking + Create new.

 

Outlook.com

 

This email client was previously “Hotmail”, “Live”, “Windows Live” and “MSN”.

If you find emails incorrectly identified as spam in the new Outlook.com, you must click the Wait, it’s safe link. Entering the email contact in the address book or contacts will no longer whitelist the sender. To ensure messages from specific email addresses are not sent to your Junk Email folder, you can do the following:

1. Check your junk folder for an email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com and open it.
2. Click the Wait, it’s safe link or mark the sender as Wait, it’s safe!
3. Click the gear icon on the top right.
4. Select Options in the dropdown list.
5. On the options page under preventing junk email, click Safe and blocked senders.
6. Click the link Safe senders on the next page.
7. Enter our email address, CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com, in the text box.
8. Click Add to list so we will be added to your list of safe senders.

 

AOL Webmail

 

To make sure our email gets delivered to your AOL inbox, please take the following steps:

1. Check your spam folder for an email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com and right click the email.
2. Click Not spam in the resulting list.

You can also add our email address to your address book.

1. Open the email from CareerStep—info@email.careerstep.com
2. Click the sender in the From field.
3. Click or tap Add contact in the menu displayed.
4. Fill out the required fields.
5. Click Add contact.
