Interventional radiology procedures are so incredibly varied and complex that accurately coding them is a unique challenge. That’s because the procedures performed often include desperate techniques applied across multiple systems with endless variations. 

And so do the codes. 

That’s why—in this particular field—clarity is absolutely critical. Think about it: You can do the most complex interventions, but if the descriptions of the procedures are poorly constructed, reimbursements can slip through the cracks. This course, designed for Learners with previous coding experience, will guide you through the correct use of interventional codes using radiologic guidance. You’ll also review terminology, anatomy, and appropriate coding guidelines.
